Entrepreneurship & Money
Ages 7–12. Help children understand money, make thoughtful choices and think of useful ideas that solve everyday problems. 48 live online classes · Teacher-led · Small groups of up to 5.
About this program
Children meet money every day, in shops, in gifts and when they ask for something they want. This program helps them practise simple, real choices: what is a need and what is a want, how to save for a goal, how to plan a small budget and how to notice a problem that someone might want solved. Over 48 live classes they work through games and role-play with play money and everyday examples, then try making a simple idea of their own. The aim is thoughtful choices, which help at home, in shops and in school projects.
What children practise
- Know needs and wants
- Plan how to spend
- Compare choices
- Think of useful ideas

What happens in a class?
These three steps guide every class. Classes do not follow an identical script or timing.
- Hear a challenge. The teacher introduces a story, game, question or everyday situation to explore.
- Have a go. Children actively take part: thinking, choosing, speaking, drawing, building, asking questions or solving problems.
- Try and improve. The teacher adds a new detail, challenge or point of view. Children use feedback, rethink their ideas and try another approach.
Example activity
The situation: The teacher gives each child a small amount of play money and a list of things they might like.
What children do: Children choose what to buy and what to save, and explain their choices.
How they work together: They compare choices with the group and notice that different children choose differently.
What changes: The teacher announces that one item costs more than before. Children rethink their plan.
Skill practised: Making a thoughtful choice with a limited amount.
Where it helps: Deciding how to use pocket money or a gift.
How learning connects to everyday life
A real-life moment: Your child asks for a toy at a shop, but it is more than their pocket money.
Using the skill: They can think about whether it is a need or a want, and plan how long it would take to save for it.
A question to ask at home: “If we buy this, what will we have to give up?”
Progress through practice
Over the 48 classes, children keep coming back to the same skills in new situations.
- Explore new situations.
- Practise important skills again and again.
- Meet different challenges.
- Try again with feedback.
- Build independence through practice.
- Discover where those skills can help in real life.
