Small groups. Every child gets a chance.
In large online classes, children can spend most of their time watching.
At Nurche, we limit each batch to 5 children, creating more opportunities for everyone to:
Our teachers guide, encourage and adapt activities so children can contribute in ways that suit their age and abilities.
Less watching. More doing.
- Answer questions and share ideas
- Make choices and explain their thinking
- Listen, respond and collaborate with peers
- Actively participate in challenges
One activity. Many life skills.
Imagine a simple challenge:
“Our toy animal needs to cross a river. What could we build?”
Children explore possible solutions, explain their ideas and try building something that works.
The teacher doesn't simply give the answer. They encourage children to discover possibilities by asking questions like:
“What do you think?” “Why did you choose that?” “What else could we try?”
The activity is the vehicle. Practising life skills is the purpose.
- THINK Independently: Explore options, make decisions and solve the challenge.
- EXPRESS Confidently: Share ideas, explain choices and describe what happened.
- PARTICIPATE Actively: Listen to others, take turns and contribute to the group.
BUILD → PRACTISE → TRANSFER
Every Nurche class creates opportunities to develop skills through three connected phases.
Different activities. Same purpose.
Classes may include storytelling, games, role-play, creative challenges, group discussions and problem-solving.
- 1. BUILD — Discover: The teacher introduces an activity or real-life challenge and helps children understand what to explore.
- 2. PRACTISE — Try: Children make choices, share ideas, solve problems, interact and learn through guided practice.
- 3. TRANSFER — Apply: Children revisit the skill in a new situation, helping them gradually use it beyond the original activity.
Participation starts small.
Some children speak freely. Others prefer to observe first.
At Nurche, participation doesn't always mean speaking in full sentences. A child might begin by pointing, choosing an option, sharing one word or responding to another child.
Our teachers provide encouragement and support without expecting every child to participate in the same way.
Why 4 classes every week?
Life skills grow through repeated opportunities to practise.
Across regular classes, children revisit important abilities through different challenges, with growing complexity and support as needed.
Teachers observe how children think, express themselves and participate, helping parents understand their child's developing abilities.
Small steps. Consistent practice. Meaningful progress.
