What happens inside a class?

In a large online class, a child can easily spend most of the session watching. In a Nurche class the teacher guides the group, but children do much of the talking and thinking.

Every class is built around participation.

The teacher doesn’t need to have all the answers.

The teacher’s role is to create opportunities for children to think. The teacher guides, encourages and nudges.

What about children who are quiet?

Children do not need to be naturally talkative to join Nurche. A small group allows the teacher to gently invite each child into the conversation.

Why 4 classes every week?

Life skills grow through repeated practice, so children practise regularly across the week.
